I'm one day in adding the wax to this portrait.I did an original under sketch in walnut ink and burned some marks with caps. The brightness and the energy of the piece so far reflects Z's energy while playing. It was a very bright sunny day so the highlights are very white. I want o do some carving in the neck and jacket and then I'll scrape back in the background and add more layers.
