I've been working on encaustic and iron cards for an upcoming gallery demonstration. I'm really enjoying working on various colours of slick card paper. The red paper really makes the poinsettia cards glow and the black paper makes a great backdrop for snow and Northern lights scenes. Using an iron and encaustic wax sticks I make cards on slick card paper. I edge the cards in metallic or coloured wax before mounting with double sided tape to quality cards. #encausticcards #en

Betty’s Beach Birthday I and two friends visited Haida Gwaii. While we were there Betty had her birthday. We agreed to let her set the agenda for the day. Betty chose to spend her birthday, beach hopping and exploring Graham Island the larger northern island. We stopped at a colorful school bus that served huge cinnamon buns and had a wonderful lunch.
